From what I know about Cole Porter's life this picture couldn't be better. Ably supported by individual performances from artists like Mick Hucknall, Elvis Costello, Natalie Cole and Robbie Willaims sing Porter original songs with a modern twist. “De-Lovely” is an entirely worthy look at the life and songs of Cole Porter that successfully evokes the lavish and sophisticated world in which he lived and wrote. It is not a conventional musical, and many of the songs are sung by a surprising array guest artists appearing in cameo roles (see who you can spot)!
