I love zombie films and although nowhere in the same league as Romero, it is not a bad film. Michael Rooker and Elizabeth Banks are terrific too.

One of my favourite comedy horrors of all time, I originally saw it on tv and loved it so much that I had to own the DVD and became a fan of Nathan himself. It was a bit predictable. Slither is a 2006 American science fiction-comedy horror film written and directed by James Gunn in his directorial debut, and starring Nathan Fillion, Elizabeth Banks, Gregg Henry, and Michael Rooker. Plus anyone who has seen "A Nightmare on Elm Street" can spot a 'bathtub scene'reference from a mile a way- just look at the cover.

The new 30 minute interview with director James Gunn is great, as well as the interview with actor Greg Henry (8 mins). The Slithery things are taking over all the members of a small town (always a small town) and it is up to an elite few including the sheriff to bring these things to heel.

Comedy is virtually impossible to get right for everyone. 4 / 5 stars 63% 86%.

This is a picture if you don’t mind lost in fantasy land I really liked Nathan Fillon from FireFly and Serenity. Great tongue in cheek movie, remembering it's a spoof. Nathan Fillon is great as the Sheriff who realises his small town is being overrun by aliens and the situations they get into are so over the top that it's awesome!
