But I think whichever one you learn first, the other will be really easy.I think you're decision should come down to which one you want to learn more. This could hurt your pronunciation because it's different.Also be aware that we have an immense ammount of accents here in Brazil because the country is very big. They have to ask for people to read it to them, or for the sound to be spelled (fus-RO-DAh). Coming from a Spanish background, you’ll have to work a little bit harder to pronounce things in Portuguese because I have a tendency to try and pronounce Portuguese words as if they were in Spanish. ¡Buena suerte!

The books helped a lot when I first started I'm still doing them now, but most of what I learn is from talking to people that don't know english and making mistakes that the Natives then correct me on.
